About Us

My name is David B. Myers.  I am a husband, a father, a Bible teacher, and Minister.  I have been in full-time ministry and church planting for 40 years teaching people about Jesus, the Messiah.  My wife, Phyllis, and I took an indefinite sabbatical recently and began a refreshing RV adventure.  We are currently in Miramar Beach, Florida — which is just beyond the Destin city limits.  We are work-camping at Camp Gulf, and having an incredible experience meeting new people and participating in a local church.  (for the first time as ‘attendees/members’ in many years)  We plan to be here at least till this September, but beyond that, we’re not sure.  We are letting God lead.

The past years of ministry were an adventure all their own, through which we raised four boys, and by proxy, a number of ‘fatherless’ youth and young adults who didn’t have Christian families.   We also served thousands of local families along the way and participated in three unique church-plants, as well as worked with two other well-established congregations.  Along the way, I was a guest speaker and teacher for numerous workshops, rallies, and revivals.  My beautiful wife was the ever-faithful preacher’s wife, serving and encouraging all ages, but especially the women and children with whom she crossed paths.

Our collective knowledge and experience is useful in its own right, and I hope you’ll be blessed by reading our articles posted here, (they vary by topic) but we hope and pray that as you read, you’ll sense our love for you, our families, the body of Christ, and for those still wandering in the darkness.  Our prayer for you is that, as Paul writes in Ephesians 3 “…you will know the Love of Christ, which surpasses knowledge, and be filled up to all the fullness of God.”
